Amy Lee J.D. M.P.P. is a highly experienced government professional with over 20 years of expertise. Her positions, including Director of the Building Department, Deputy Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency, and senior Mayoral staff, have enabled her to develop extensive relationships across all levels of government. Amy's background includes working at the U.S. Department of Labor and serving as a senior fiscal and legislative advisor to San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown. She has overseen budgets for major city departments and has contributed to policy initiatives on homelessness, labor, and economic development.

 

In addition, Amy has held key roles at the SF Building Department and served as the Deputy Director of the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency. Her strategic management skills encompass areas such as development, financing, economic and workforce development, community investment, land use, permitting, budgeting, building inspection operations, department administration, personnel and labor relations, contracting, and fiscal agent administration.
