Andrea Baker
Andrea Baker brings a wealth of experience from her roles as a Project Manager at the Mayor’s Office of Economic & Workforce Development (OEWD) and the former San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, where she worked for over 5 years.
Her expertise lies in engaging community stakeholders, facilitating productive visioning and planning discussions, and implementing comprehensive strategies for neighborhood revitalization and economic development. Andrea has successfully attracted and developed businesses for mixed-use developments in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a talent for identifying innovative concepts and operators that contribute to vibrant commercial corridors in emerging neighborhoods.
In addition to her professional experience, Andrea has started and managed her own businesses, including Baker Foods, La Fête Catering, Made in California Shops and Gift Baskets, and Geva’s Caribbean Cuisine. She has also served on various boards, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, Berkeley Arts Center, Women’s Alliance, and currently serves on the board of the African American Shakespeare Company. Andrea's accomplishments were recognized when she received the Entrepreneurship award from the National Coalition for 100 Black Women at the 10th Annual Golden Girls "Bridging the Generations" Hats & Gloves Tea Party.
